Divorce Day, (6th January, the first Monday of the year) is known for its increase in separation inquiries amongst married couples. So we wanted to hear more from you about it! In December, we launched a survey in partnership with YouGov to hear how you feel about throwing a Divorce Party and boy, did you deliver.
27% of Londoners aged 25-34 have recently been invited to a divorce party.
Divorce Parties are on the rise: Gen Z and Millennials in London are 3 times more likely to host a Divorce Party than other generations.
27% of respondents stated they would spend the same or more on their divorce/break up party as compared to their hen parties.
25% would spend the same or more on their divorce/break up party as compared to their birthday party.
Contrary to the popular belief that only women are celebrating their divorce, ahead of their big pay out, 22% of men compared to 12% of females in London said they were more likely to throw a divorce party.
